Hole 9 is the most beautiful one at San Lameer. The Halfway House right behind it houses an à-la-carte restaurant with terrace and a stunning views, inviting to relax. The clubhouse offers the visitor any luxury. Even the changing rooms are superbly elegant. But green fees are, nevertheless, affordable. Access: The course is well sign-posted on the freeway. |

San Lameer Golf Resort
 The San Lameer Golf Course lies just over an hour's drive south of Durban on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, which has over the last years evolved as one of the most popular golfing centres of South Africa. The course is very scenic. The wide fairways are lined with subtropical vegetation, palm trees and huge wild banana trees in a softly undulating landscape with many lakes, artificially created waterfalls and streams. One can often spot Impala antelopes and other game.The course, designed by Peter Matkovich and Dale Hayes, is always in excellent condition. The greens are fast, interspersed with breaks and guarded by well positioned bunkers. There are four tees available rendering the course manageable for players of all standards.  |
